The pyroprocessing line uses natural gas as the main fuel. The scope supplied and commissioned by FCT included: • Gyro-Therm™ burner with trolley, gas valve train, and burner management system (BMS) • four calciner burners with associated valve train • two hot gas generators for cement mills, including BMS and other accessories. |
Fives Pillard wins east European order29 October 2021, Published under Cement NewsFives Pillard is installing a raw material-drying hot gas generator for a cement plant in eastern Europe. The 75MW hot gas generator will operate with air at 250°C. During its start-up it will be fired with natural gas until it reaches 30 per cent of its power capacity, after which peat will become the main fuel.
